To begin, the team was given $160 for the project. The first few orders is when the team spent the majority of the money they spent. After that, orders only consisted of a few cents, often times totaling less than one dollar. There were 18 separate orders the team put in place of the duration of the project, though the last two orders were the team returning things they found were unnecessary. The things the team returned were pieces mainly for the drivetrain and the chassis as the team did not need them after their design of the robot changed throughout the project. In total, the team spent $124.86 on the robot.
The majority of the money was spent at the beginning because this is when the team needed to buy everything they needed to build the robot. From then on, little purchases were made based off of problems that arose that the team did not originally expect.
Below, a pie chart representing what the majority of the budget was spent on for the robot can be found. Beneath that, a graph showing the fluctuation of the budget between purchases can be found.
