The team created a mockup of the final idea out of cardboard, pencils, tape, and hot glue. A multitude of components, such as the forklift and the rotating mechanism, were created out of cardboard to try and model what the final product of the robot would look like, as shown below. The team also build a mock rack and pinion, a cardboard Proteus, and wheels to bring the ideas to fruition as much as possible before constructing the final project.
