First Round Robin

For the first run in round robin, the run began with robot successfully lifting the car jack and picking up the wrench.  However, the robot was lined up to far to the right of the wrench, and the robot immediately dropped the wrench after picking it up.  The robot did recover, and it rotated the fuel crank.  After this, the robot ran into the side wall on its way down the ramp, and it failed to hit the blue button.  Using RPS, the robot navigated to the end button and hit it.  The team scored 73 points in 46 seconds, and the detailed scoring of this run is shown below.

The main problem with this run was the robot failed to maintain control of the wrench which messed up other parts of the run.  The reasons the robot dropped the wrench could have been because it was lined up too far to the right of the wrench or because too many pieces of tape were on the magnet device which increased the distance from the magnets to the wrench therefore decreasing the strength of the magnets.  The tape was added because in the past, the robot had had issues disposing of the wrench.  The team decided to keep the tape on and make no other changes.  However, when looking through the code, team members noticed that an old version of the code had accidently been downloaded.  The team downloaded the new version of the code for the next run.
