On February 18, we assembled the chassis and drivetrain on SolidWorks. It featured a 6.5″ x 7.5″ piece of MDF 1/4″ wood, two IGWAN motors (mounted with the 3D printed pieces purchased from the store), and four Du-Bro wheels. In the back of the robot, double bent strips were mounted to the bottom of the chassis, each holding 3″ of an axle rod to attach the wheels.
Then, Justin and Kelly cut the wood to size, drilled holes in the chassis, and cut the axle rod to assemble the robot.
