Planned Topics:
- Perform exploration #1 regarding light sensors, motors, and bump switches
Meeting Notes:
- Some issues were had with sensor initially, potentially due to low charge of the proteus.
- The low charge of the proteus also caused issues with the motors; they did not run at the speed at which they were programmed, and they ran inconsistently.
- The light sensor eventually worked as planned.
- A servo motor was tested and successfully run based on values given by the light sensor.
- The proteus was charged for the second half of the meeting; this resolved the motor issues.
- The course was successfully navigated by the robot in the last five minutes of the class.
- All code that was written was eventually tweaked to work successfully for the given tasks.
Plans until next Meeting:
- Gather materials for building the mockup robot.
