Meeting Agenda 

Group Members in Attendance: Devin Fogerty, Justin Krantz, Nick Kurtz, Steven Prexta 

Date of Meeting: 02/21/18 

Planned Topics: 

  • Hopefully retrieve the omni-wheels for the robot. 
  • Solder the CdS cell to pins to plug into the proteus. 
  • Mount the CdS cell to the chassis. 
  • Test the distances travelled by the wheels if they are received 

Meeting Notes: 

  • The CdS cell was successfully soldered to the pins with a resistor in the circuit so it works correctly 
  • The wheels were not here at the beginning of the meeting; still waiting. 
  • A short program was written for performance test 1 that will let the robot travel a given number of inches based on calculations of the motor speeds. 
  • The correct number of inches was measured for the course of the robot for the first performance test and placed into the code. 
  • The CdS cell was successfully measured to determine the value it should give to start the robot. 
  • The code for performance test 1 was successfully written with theoretical values; testing will be done when the wheels are received in order to tweak them. 

Plans until next Meeting: 

  • Wait for wheels 
  • Test the distances the robot moves with wheels 
  • Work on code representation
