Coasting:
Pros
- Uses less power overall than power breaking
- Can accelerate faster and then cover more distance as it slows down and coasts
- Only needs to accelerate for a short amount of time at lower speeds
Cons
- Takes longer to slow down (time)
- Needs more space (longer distance) to slow down and come to a complete stop
