Q1: What are some games you have played recently?
A1: I’ve played word feud, (a game like Scrabble), and I like it because how busy I usually am< The game happens passively in the background. It is turn based, so I can pick it up whenever again.
I also play Tetris on the phone. I like it because it is simple to begin with, then comes faster and problem you must solve quickly from a geometric standpoint. When I was young I had game boy with only Tetris. And solitaire – I play it to pass time. (but it’s not exciting)
Q2: .What are some games you might enjoy playing on MATLAB?
A2: blackjack. I’d like to see a display for the game, like a splash page, ability to click options.
I like battleship, it’s text based, but I like well put together AI. I prefer mouse clicks over typing.
Q3: In your opinion what is the optimal length a game should take to play?
A3: It’s hard to answer, word feud is only a few minutes here and there.
I do not play games beyond 15 minutes at a time. Most games I cannot play for that long unless there are several levels. Unless there is a definitive outcome.
Q4: .What aspects of a game make it enjoyable to you to play?
A4: I like battleship a lot due to sheer intensity of the game. Especially if it has a random number generator, plus AI. Its kill or be killed! I likes intense games.
