Memory Game:
If you love playing card games with your friends and family this memory game will be just for you. Our team made a memory game of concentration that consisted of 4 rows of 13 columns, which in total made 26 matching pairs. We used Matlab to create this game using the simpleGameEngine provided and the retro_card.png, which we used as our graphics. Throughout creating this game our team learned a lot about teamwork, how to problem solve, and the different aspects of building a game.
Click Adventure Game:
Hide and seek, word search, and word hunt all have one thing in common: you are looking to solve the game to win. In our click adventure game, you are searching to find the moon to win the level and then move onto the next level. Our team made our click adventure game using Matlab and pixilart. We used the simpleGameEngine provided, but created all of our own sprite sheets/graphics from pixilart. Throughout the creation of our game our team learned a lot about how to create graphics and how much time it takes to make them, how to problem solve as a group, and how to build a game on Matlab that is our own.
