G. Conclusions and Recommendations

Throughout this project, the team was able to work on and create a modified and creative version of Hangman in MATLAB. The team believes that this three-week experience was a success because the project allowed all of the members to channel their engineering skills and use it to successfully implement the required tasks. Specifically, it helped to heavily enforce problem-solving skills required from an engineer because throughout the project, the team would often be forced to think outside the box in order to find solutions to problems. It was this particular skill which greatly helped the team come up with the final design of the game.

Had the team been given the time and resources to pursue this game beyond the current constraints, the team would have worked to improve the word bank currently in use by working to create an even larger database of words so as to make the game more fun for the player. The team would have also worked to create categories for the user to choose before any word is generated. By doing so, the player would have had an idea of what kind of word to expect before it is generated.
