A. User Identification and Interviews

Audience for these interviews are people who are looking into playing our game and the design process of it. 

Interview 1

Interviewer: 

“What are some games that you regularly play on your phone?”

Olivia:

“Roller Splat and Dumb Ways to Die.”

Interviewer: 

“What games did you play when you were growing up?”

Olivia: 

“Candy Land, Heads-Up 7 Up, and Sorry.”

Interviewer:

“What amount of time you would like to spend playing a game?”

Olivia:

“Around 5 minutes.”

Interviewer: 

“What do you like in a game?”

Olivia:

“A challenge.”

Interviewer:

“What are some games you see yourself playing on MatLab?”

Olivia:

“TictacToe or a memory game.”

Interviewer: 

“Thank you for your time.”

Olivia:

“Of course.”

 

 

Interview 2

Interviewer: 

“What are some games that you regularly play on your phone?”

 

Michael:

“I don’t play games on my phone.”

 

Interviewer:

“What are some games you see yourself playing on MatLab?”

 

Michael:

“Basic games, like tictactoe, checkers, and hangman.”

 

Interviewer:

“What amount of time you would like to spend playing a game?”

 

Michael:

“A couple minutes. 5 Minutes maximum.”

 

Interviewer: 

“What do you like in a game?”

 

Michael:

“To be challenged and forced to think in a different way.”

 

Interviewer: 

“When playing this game, what did you enjoy about it?”

 

Michael:

“Well there were some technical difficulties, but the game seems to be entertaining and going in the right direction.”

 

Interviewer: 

“What changes would you recommend?”

 

Michael:

“Making the game able to go to completion haha.”

 

Interviewer:
