G. Conclusion and Recommendation

Othello

Othello is not a very common game, though it should rise in popularity because for a game that is simple in nature, it is very complex and mentally stimulating. The Matlab version of this game excels in one area particularly, which is functionality, arguably the most important thing. The game works without flaw time and time again. When things are just functional however, they are not always the most appealing. Some of the most significant ways this game could be improved is if the team had added in sprites and graphics, and made the game play a little more user-friendly by being able to place a tile by clicking a spot instead of entering in a coordinate. These additions would have made the game much more polished and appealing, though not making it any more or less functional.

Hangman

Hangman is a classic game that has been played for decades and through this version of hangman, we get to play the game in a modern way. The Matlab version is pretty clear and smooth with only a few things that can make the experience of the game better. The graphics of the game board, while good can be a lot better given more time and resources. Also, the word bank consists of only 36 words from 6 categories which is good for such a version that is only played by a few people but more words and categories can be added to make the game even better. Overall, the gameplay is the same as any other hangman game but the only thing it lacks, is better visuals
