A. Intended users for this game: Students attending The Ohio State University  

1. Have you played Oregon Trail before?

  • I have heard of Oregon Trail but I have never played.

2. What do you do on a normal day at OSU? 

  • I do similar things each day. Go to class, hang out with friends. Depending on the weekend I might go out.  

3. What do you suggest the goal of the game should be? We were thinking of having the end goal to be to find Brutus.  

  • I like that idea. That’s a fun way to incorporate school spirit into your game.  

4. How many scenarios do you think we should include in our game? 

  •  When playing similar games, I have found that 6-8 scenarios make it interesting and long enough. Make sure it’s not too long where it gets boring

1.What are some games you might enjoy playing on MATLAB? 

  • connect 4, our game, hang man.

2. In your opinion what is the optimal length a game should take to play? 

  • rather quickly around but for an adventure game 5 

3. What aspects of a game make it enjoyable to you to play? 

  • being able to play with friends, nice graphics, and a good story 

4. When playing this game, which aspects did you enjoy? 

  • She enjoyed the fact that the player became a character and story was relatable.  

5. When playing this game, what changes would you recommend? 

  • make it easier to read and give user more chances.
