Interview 1 – Connor Boham

  • What are some games you have played recently?
    1. Fortnite, war, solitaire, go fish, Uno, BS, Mastermind, Mindsweeper
  • What are some games you might enjoy playing on MATLAB?
    1. “a lot of those [previously listed]”
    2. A game including a maze or using strategy to solve a problem
    3. There are those games with a story and you can select your choices- choose your adventure type of game
  • In your opinion what is the optimal length a game should take to play?
    1. In terms of MATLAB30- second to 3-4 min.
    2. In terms of showcasing, people will lose attention.
  • What aspects of a game make it enjoyable to you to play?
    1. Connor prefers strategy games which require the user to apply forethought and rational thinking instead of luck-based games.
    2. Thinking your way through the game (strategy)
    3. Not luck based
