This week, I’ve learned about so many valuable things such as PPT Skills, how to write thank you letter and note as well as hearing from business people’s sincere experience.
Other than that, I’ve figured out where to live and solved some other stuff like choosing utility company and knowing where the grocery market is.
I think I’m good at listening and traveling without specific plan.

Whenever I heard “Culture Shock”, I recall the first moment that made me embarrassed by proving my stereotype was wrong.
Since my both parent had worked, often times I had pizza for dinner. I tried every one of menu from local pizza to major pizza brands like Pizza hut, Papa johns, and Mr. Pizza. When I was done trying every pizza brands nearby, I started to wonder that how the pizza in the U.S. and Italy is different from here in Korea. So as soon as I’ve come here to the U.S., I tried Pizza and I had culture shock because american pizza is very different than I thought.
Pizza here is mostly simple which has one or two topping on it. Moreover people are likely to have cheese pizza without topping. For me, adapted to Korean style pizza having a lot of topping on it, it was surprising.
As a transfer student who is having difficulty to communicate with people from here the U.S., I have been thinking about how to improve my English skill and fluency. I have researched about the way to improve English fluency and found out that many people have benefit from listening news cast and speak after news caster.
So here is my way to develop my English.
1. Pick one news article
2. Listen to the article and read it out
3. Do this cycle once a day; before get to sleep
This method will definitely help foreign people to develop how to stress words, elongate vowels and speak in chunks when they speak in Englsih.
