Cattlemen’s Scholarship Applications Due March 1

Each year the Fairfield County Cattlemen’s Association awards college scholarships to at least one local high school senior, as well as a current college or technical school student. Applicants must be a high school senior or currently enrolled in a college/university, junior college, or vocational/technical school, and must be a resident of Fairfield County. He/she or his/her parent/guardian must have been a member of the Fairfield County Cattlemen’s Association during the year preceding the application. Applicants must have also completed and exhibited a market beef, beef feeder, dairy feeder and/or breeding beef project for at least four years at the Fairfield County Fair through either 4-H and/or FFA.

The scholarships will be awarded during the annual FCCA Banquet on a date in March or April yet to be determined.
