The Fashion & Retail Studies Speaker Series is presenting a lecture by Leigh Helsel, Chief Client Officer, ACCEL Inc. on April 5 from 2:30 – 3:30 PM in 200 Campbell Hall. The event is free and open to all.

They are pictured here at the Fashion Scholarship Fund Awards Gala which took place in New York City. Violet’s award was based on her idea to “launch an in-store entertainment for Avon Products Inc. to attract multiple generations by promoting the creation of a series of fashion events featuring local independent fashion retailers and designers at an urban venue, carried out by marketing concepts such as celebrity endorsement, social media contests, and a fashion show that is a signature event that kicks off the concept.” Salor’s idea “focused on the clothing brand Abercrombie and Fitch; [she] proposed that the company implement in-store denim manufacturing to provide the customer with custom-fit jeans.” Congratulations, Violet and Salor!
