Local Foods Farm Tour Series begins June 11

Join us on June 5th and learn more about locally grown and designed farm fresh flowers.

Bluegreen Gardens will be the first stop on the 2019 Local Foods Farm Tour Series. Bluegreen Gardens is a boutique flower farm and floral design studio operated by Mike Zawislak and Elizabeth Fox Zawislak. Using a combination of their individual special strengths and talents, they work to bring joy to people through the sharing of their flowers.

Reservations to attend are not required, but are appreciated by contacting OSU Extension (740-652-7260). Bluegreen Gardens is located at 60 Hamburg Rd., Lancaster. The program will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.

Hydrangea School coming to Fairfield County June 5th

Join us in the Ag Center on June 5th to learn all about the world of hydrangeas from OSU Extension Educator Eric Barrett. Discover which varieties will work best in your garden and landscape, and learn how to properly care for, prune and maintain a successful bed of hydrangeas.

At the workshop, you will receive a reference chart and your very own hydrangea to take home. The program will be held June 5, 2019 from 10 am until 12 noon at the Fairfield County Ag Center, 831 College Avenue, Lancaster, OH.  Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m.
