Sofia Gugliemotto receives State 4-H Award

The 2022 Ohio 4-H Achievement Awards were presented in June at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center in Columbus. Local 4-H member Sofia Gugliemotto received the Clothing and Textiles Achievement Award.

Sofia Gugliemotto, 18, has been a 4-H member for thirteen years and is active in sewing and horse projects. Sofia is the daughter of Janna and Gary Gugliemotto, from Carroll, Ohio and is currently a senior at Bloom Carroll High School. She plants to attend Ohio University Lancaster this fall majoring in Consumer Sciences Education.

Ohio 4-H Achievement Awards are presented annually to individuals for outstanding work in their project area. Twenty-nine youth received 2022 honors. The evening was hosted by the Ohio 4-H Foundation.

Ohio 4-H is the youth development program of Ohio State University Extension, with more than 84,000 young Ohioans participating in 4-H clubs, groups and special interest programs.
