Lily Dennis receives State 4-H Award

The 2022 Ohio 4-H Achievement Awards were presented in June at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center in Columbus. Local 4-H member Lilian Dennis received the Sheep Achievement Award.

Lilian Dennis, 15, has been a member of 4-H for eight years. She has taken several summer projects, as well as beef, sheep, and poultry projects. Lilian is from Fairfield county and is the daughter of Brad and Shelly Dennis. Lilian attends Amanda-Clearcreek High School and later plans to attend The Ohio State University, where she would like to major in the agricultural field.

Ohio 4-H Achievement Awards are presented annually to individuals for outstanding work in their project area. Twenty-nine youth received 2022 honors. The evening was hosted by the Ohio 4-H Foundation.

Ohio 4-H is the youth development program of Ohio State University Extension, with more than 84,000 young Ohioans participating in 4-H clubs, groups and special interest programs.
