The Livestock Publications Council (LPC) is accepting applications for the Forrest Bassford Student Award. The top winner will receive a $1,500 scholarship and a $500 travel scholarship to attend LPC’s annual convention and Ag Media Summit in Raleigh, N.C., July 16-20, 2022.
Up to three $750 travel scholarships to attend the convention will be given in addition to the top award. Students participating in the convention will have the opportunity to interact with more than 500 livestock publication and agricultural communications professionals while attending workshops and seminars specifically related to this field. Alltech, award sponsor, will also provide the opportunity for award winners to attend the Alltech ONE Conference with complimentary registration.
Applicants must be a college junior or senior at the start of the 2022-23 college year with at least one semester before graduation. The application deadline is Feb. 15. Application available here.
