Shop the 4-H Vendor Sale this Saturday, July 31st!

Come out and support our vendors and the Fairfield County 4-H Craft Show/Vendor Sale this Saturday, July 31st, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds. We’ll be in the Ed Sands Building. Get some early Christmas shopping taken care of or just shop for yourself, birthdays, and other special occasions coming up!

The Fairfield County 4-H Advisory Committee will host their 4th Annual Craft and Vendor Show on Saturday, July 31st from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to raise money for the county program. The event, which will be held at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds in the Ed Sands Building 157 E Fair Ave, Lancaster, OH, will help raise funds for county activities like summer camp, state trips, awards, and so much more in the county.

Save the Date for 4-H Summerfest: Summer Project Awards Ceremony is August 21st

Our annual Summerfest Awards Program will be held Saturday August 21, 2021 at the Ed Sands/Farm Bureau Building at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds. Members who completed their summer projects and received a 1st-3rd place, Honorable Mention or Outstanding will be mailed postcard invitations to the event soon. The event will begin at 7 p.m.  We look forward to seeing you help us celebrate the great work done with summer projects. This event is open to the public.

Ohio State Fair In-Person Rabbit Skillathon: Friday, July 30th, 2021

All 4-H/FFA members are invited to participate in the Ohio State Fair In-Person Rabbit Skillathon on Friday, July 30th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Please note the Location Change: Voinovich Livestock Center Mezzanine (2nd floor). Youth do not have to exhibit rabbit projects at the Ohio State Fair to participate in this event.

Please note that if members only compete in OSF Skillathons, they will be required to submit their 4-H/FFA Project Books for all “fair projects” to the Fairfield County Extension Office by October 1st to be reviewed. Also, if members with to participate in the Fairfield County Premier Exhibitor Program, they must complete that respective specie’s Skillathon at the Fairfield County Skillathon Day (September 11th or 12th).

Ohio State Fair In-Person Swine Skillathon: Thursday, August 5th, 2021

All 4-H/FFA members are invited to participate in the Ohio State Fair In-Person Swine Skillathon on Thursday, August 5th from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the Voinovich Livestock Center Mezzanine (2nd Floor). Youth do not have to exhibit swine projects at the Ohio State Fair to participate in this event.

Note: To be eligible for the Ohio State Fair Outstanding Market Exhibitor, youth MUST compete at the in-person Swine Skillathon. Note: To be eligible for the Ohio State Fair Outstanding Market Exhibitor, youth MUST compete at the in-person Poultry Skillathon.
