Believe in Ohio, a program of The Ohio Academy of Science announced a Statewide STEM Scholarship to recognize students who have demonstrated contributions to STEM Innovation and Entrepreneurship. A significant portion of the criteria looks to reward students for their commitment to research and projects that have been externally validated, like an FFA Agriscience Fair project and is specifically cited in the Scholarship Application. Only juniors and seniors (from the 2021 school-year) are eligible to apply. They can include previous years work as well as their current project. Its always best to reference awards for their work. Scholarship Rubric will offer a look into the evaluation process. FFA students who compete with their research projects are uniquely qualified applicants. A total of 132 $1,000 Scholarships are available. This represents one scholarship for each Ohio House and Senate District. All of the student’s application materials must be submitted by April 15, 2021.
