Youth Volunteers WANTED! Showcase your 4-H Projects at the Virtual 4-H Project Open House Events!

This year we will not be having youth display projects at 4-H Day due to COVID-19, limiting the number of people at our event, and because it will be a drive thru event for new 4-H families that need to be placed with a club. At 4-H Day, families will receive information about Virtual 4-H Project Open House events where they can learn more about the many projects 4-H has too offer.

This is where you come in! We are in need of youth who are willing to pull their 4-H book out, a project display, and perhaps awards to share on Zoom. All project areas are welcome! We will put related projects in these same breakout rooms.

  • March 8th: Youth volunteers will need to be available from 7:15-8:30 p.m. We will do a brief orientation at 7:15 and welcome guests at 7:30.
  • March 10th: Youth volunteers will need to be available from 5:15-6:30 p.m. We will do a brief orientation at 5:15 and welcome guests at 5:30.

Each breakout room will have 2-3 4-H members with related projects – come prepared to share and tell! If you have more than one project in a similar project area, you can prepare to share more than one.

What do we need from you? If you would like to help out on either day or both days, please let Leslie Cooksey know by email (cooksey.25@osu.edu) by Friday, March 5th. Please share 4-H member name, club, and the project(s) you would like to share.

Parents and Advisors are also able to help us with our Virtual 4-H Project Open House events. If interested, please reach out to Leslie to see how you can help!

We are looking forward to telling the great stories of 4-H projects that you all have experienced with our new prospective families!
