Attention Meat/Market Goat Junior Fair Exhibitors! The Meat/Market Goat Show Committee would like to share the following information and reminders with you as we approach fair!
- Check-In for all meat/market goats will be Saturday, October 5th from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. No goats will be allowed in the barn until checked at the Goat Barn’s main entrance by a committee member. Please have scrapie tags or registration paper work for all breeding stock. Also if tattooed, it must be easy to read by a committee member.
- A mandatory exhibitor meeting will take place at 2:00 prior to weigh-in in the Goat Barn. Weigh-in will begin at 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. Each exhibitor showing a market wether must legibly complete a Drug Use Notification Form (DUNF) for each animal. Fair Code is 94.
- If showing in a breeding class, double check the class sheet. No changes will take place after Sunday afternoon.
- Showmanship sign-up sheets will be posted in the Goat Barn on Sunday afternoon until Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.
