4-H Camp Registration opens May 1st!

Fairfield County 4-H has a rich tradition of camping and this year will be no exception! Reservations are on a first-come-first serve basis. Please make checks payable to: OSU Extension.  Our mailing address is 831 College Ave, Suite D, Lancaster OH 43130.

Our Cloverbud Day Camp (for those 5-8 years old and in kindergarten through second grade) will be held Saturday June 15th at Alley Park just south of Lancaster.  The fee for this camp is $35.00.  Camp fee includes a partial lunch, a snack, t-shirt and health insurance.  If you register prior to June 1st, your fee will only be $20.00 due to the generous Bertha Wilson Trust Scholarship.  All you need to do is complete the registration form found in the yellow member handbook on page 41, or the link found here and have it postmarked or in our office with payment by June 1st.  Registrations received after June 1st will include the full camp fee plus a late fee, for a total of $60.00.  Cloverbud camp registration closes on June 1st.

Our Intermediate Camp for those ages 11-14 will be held June 23-26 at Tar Hollow State Park. The fee for this camp is $115.00 and includes meals, cabin lodging, camp picture, camp t-shirt, programming fees and health insurance.  Camp Crafts and a canteen will be available at additional costs.  Permanent staff at Tar Hollow, under the direction of our county staff, includes a nurse, camp manager, recreation director, three lifeguards, naturalist, canteen/activity and crafts director.  Fun and fellowship are the words for camp.  Programs include swimming and boating at Pine Lake, nature, crafts, recreation, campfires, inspiration, and many other activities.  If registration is paid by June 1st, the fee will be $57.50 due to the generous Bertha Wilson Trust Scholarship. All you need to do is complete the registration form found in the yellow member handbook on page 41, or the link found here and have it postmarked or in our office with payment by June 1st.  Registrations received after June 1st will include the full camp fee plus a late fee, for a total of $140.00.  Intermediate camp registration closes on June 12th or earlier if we sell out of beds.

Our Junior Camp for those ages 8-10 will be held July 1-4 at Tar Hollow State Park. Once your registration is received, you will be provided with a camp letter that tells you the details about what to pack, necessary forms, a map to camp and other information.
