Fairfield County Teens selected as 2018-2019 Ohio 4-H Health Heroes!

Congrats to Cara Luallen, Emma Preston, Lauren Preston, Dalton Henry, and Hannah Henry who were selected to participate in the 2018-2019 Ohio 4-H Health Heroes Program. They will join over 45 4-H Healthy Living Advocates across Ohio in promoting health (the 4th “H”) in their communities.

Please know that if any 4-H clubs are looking for guest speakers on healthy living, please contact the Extension Office or Aubry Fowler (fowler.443@osu.edu) so that we can connect you with one of these teens!

4-H Health Heroes is a Healthy Living Advocate Program available to 4-H teens in 7-12th grade from across Ohio. Teens learn how to promote healthy living in their communities while gaining valuable leadership and communication skills. Trained Health Heroes serve at the local level in their counties and those in high school may take on added responsibilities and serve on the state group.
