Ohio 4-H Volunteer Awards – Applications due 12/1/2018

Nomination Forms for the Ohio 4-H Volunteer Awards are now  posted on the Ohio 4-H website. Please consider submitting a nomination for a 4-H volunteer/advisor in Fairfield County. Completed applications are due to the State 4-H Office by December 1, 2018 and require a signature from a 4-H Extension Educator in Fairfield County (Leslie Cooksey or Aubry Fowler). Awards will presented to winners at the 2019 Ohio 4-H Conference in March.

Below is the list of awards presented at Ohio 4-H Volunteer Recognition Luncheon.

Applications are due December 1st.

Community Service – Recognizes adults and youth 4-H volunteers whom have collaborated with community groups, or undertaken them with their own 4-H club or unit, community service projects or activites.

Friend of 4-H – An individual, family, business or corporation that supports the Ohio 4-H Program, in a charitable manner at the county, state, or national level.

Hall of Fame –  Recognizes individuals who have made significant lifetime contributions to the Ohio 4-H program and who have also made an important positive impact upon clubs, communities, and the state 4-H program.

Innovator – Recognizes adult and/or youth volunteers who have developed new programs, county projects, or activities.

Meritorious Service – Recognizes adult 4-H volunteers for a lifetime of meritorious service.

4-H Alumni – 4-H Grows True Leaders!  Nominate a 4-H alumnus who has demonstrated distinctive achievement in career or service and can attribute part of their success to participating in 4-H.
