The 2017 Ohio 4-H Achievement Awards were presented recently at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center in Columbus and Emma Newell was recognized with OTA Local Government which was sponsored by Ohio Township Association.
Ohio 4-H Teen Hall of Fame Inductee, Emma Newell, is a ten-year 4-H member from Fairfield County. Emma is majoring in Agricultural Communications at The Ohio State University, with future plans to work at an international level with the 4-H organization. Emma is the daughter of Charles and Jennifer Newell.
The evening was hosted by the Ohio 4-H Foundation.
Ohio 4-H is the youth development program of Ohio State University Extension, with more than 183,000 young Ohioans participating in 4-H clubs, groups and special interest programs.
