From the Companion Animal Superintendents:
The Companion Animal Show (cats, pet rabbits, cavy, rodents & ferrets, amphibians, birds and reptiles) will be held Sunday October 9th starting at 10:00 am in the #50 Show Arena (red barn next to the Display Barn). Participants are reminded to bring their pet, a ½ size (14”x22”, NO Trifolds) educational poster, project book and any food/water your animal will need for the day. Cats and ferrets MUST have the 2016 Certificate of Vaccination or an official ODA Health Certificate signed by a licensed, accredited veterinarian. Please see pages 54-55 of the Jr Fair Rules book for additional information.
Registration for the Pet Rabbits will begin at 9:30 am with the judging starting at 10 am.
Registration for the Cavies and the Amphibians, Birds and Reptiles classes will start at 10:30 am with judging starting at 11 am.
Registration for the Cat projects will begin at 12:30 pm, with judging starting at 1 pm.
The Costume Class (fun show) will be at 12:30 pm.
Registration for the Rodents & Ferrets will start at 1 pm and judging start at 1:30 pm.
The Cloverbud Stuffed Animal Show will be at 1:30 pm. Fairfield County Cloverbuds are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal and talk about it to the audience during the older youth judging. The Cloverbuds would then go to the Display Barn for their Show-N-Tell there at 2 pm.
