Ezell and Turk Honored with College Distinguished Faculty Awards

Knowlton faculty members Kyle Ezell and Stephen Turk have been recognized with College of Engineering Distinguished Faculty Awards.
Ezell will receive the Charles E. MacQuigg Award for Outstanding Teaching. The MacQuigg Award is “presented annually to faculty members who have demonstrated, in a superior manner, their interest in and willingness to help students, their interest in improvement of the high reputation of the College of Engineering and their outstanding teaching ability.” Ezell is an Associate Professor of Practice and Undergraduate Program Chair in the City and Regional Planning Section at the Knowlton School.

Turk has been recognized with the Lumley Research Award for demonstrating, “exceptional activity and success in pursuing new knowledge of a fundamental or applied nature.” He is an Associate Professor and Graduate Program Chair in the Architecture Section at the Knowlton School.

Official presentations will occur at the College of Engineering’s annual awards banquet on April 24.
