The Who:
The Extension Learning and Organizational Development (LOD) team is made up of individuals representing program development, program evaluation, community needs assessments, educational technology, event planning and coordination, and career development. Check out our “Meet the Team” page for more information on LOD staff!
The What:
LOD is an Extension support unit that provides training and resources on career development; organizational development; and program development, delivery, and evaluation. For more information about our identity, check out our LOD identity graphic!
The Why:
Extension professionals have limited time to learn an unlimited number of skills related to their jobs. We get it. The LOD unit was formed to provide a one-stop-shop for learning and professional development related to career development, organizational development, and program development. Within each of these areas, we offer resources and training on assessment, development, evaluation, and reporting appropriate for you and your Extension programming.
The How:
LOD team members are here to assist you! Throughout 2019 and 2020, we’ll be conducting a comprehensive organizational needs assessment that will help us develop our plan of work for the coming years. In the meantime, we’re just a phone call or email away. You can visit our LOD website for resources related to digital engagement, professional development, and program development, evaluation, and reporting. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Let us know!
If you need help with a specific skill or project, we’re happy to chat or provide coaching and guidance. Feel free to reach out about scheduling a workshop in your area!
