Join Horticulture Program Assist Kim Hupman and Family and Consumer Sciences Educator Laura Halladay to discuss Ohio apples. Learn the first steps to starting a backyard orchard and information on selecting, storing, and serving Ohio apples.

BACKYARD VEGETABLE GARDENING – PART 1 – GETTING STARTED – 5/7/2020

Join us to learn more about how to start your own garden during COVID-19. You may even learn a quick tip or two for the established home garden. Topics will range from soil health, considerations on what to plant and when, and what to look for if your vegetables are not growing.

This program will be open to the public at not cost. It will feature approximately thirty minutes of planned discussion, then an open forum for home garden questions.
