Ohio 4-H Skillathon Team: The state team competes on behalf of Ohio at the National 4-H Skillathon Contest in Louisville, KY. Youth will show what they know through a variety of hands-on stations evaluating their knowledge of the goat, sheep, swine, and beef industries. Ohio 4-H Livestock Judging “All-Star” Team: The state team competes on behalf of Ohio at the National Livestock Judging Contest in Louisville, KY. Youth will evaluate and place classes of goat, sheep, beef, and swine; and deliver oral reasons. The team is coached by Greg Meyer, ANR Educator. Also, Clinton County has invited Greene County exhibitors to a Show and Grow Clinic. All FFA / 4-H members, parents, and advisors are welcome! It will take place June 23 from 11-4 at the Clinton County Fairgrounds. Please register! Topics that will be covered include grooming of the animal, ethics and illegal vs. legal products to use, grooming of the kids on the big day, and showmanship! Species that will be covered include poultry, sheep, and goats. See flyer.
