Every 5 years the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) publish the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. The Dietary Guidelines serve as a reputable, research-based tool for nutrition guidance and education. The 2020 – 2025 Guidelines were released in December of 2020.
