4-H Reminders

Here are a few reminders about upcoming programs that you can still participate in.  We would love to have Greene County 4-H members part of it.

  1.  4-H SPIN Club: Vibein to the 80’s: Join me in helping to present this new and fun upcoming 4-H SPIN club. Vibein to the 80s 4-H SPIN club will be covering life skills.  Life skills relevant THEN and how they’ve evolved to NOW!  This will be so fun. Youth will learn the following skills: nutrition, laundry, achieving the right “look” for a professional setting, financial management, home maintenance, and correspondence.  Register at www.go.osu.edu/spinskills
  2. Take the Leap Career Readiness Program: On behalf of the Ohio 4-H Teen Leadership Council, we would like to introduce you to the 2021 Take the Leap Year Program. Thanks to the Ohio 4-H Foundation Board, Take the Leap Year is a teen-led, five-month free program available to Ohio 4-H Teens ages 13-18. Our goal is to help teens from Ohio gain leadership skills, career development skills, and learn how to establish and maintain goals. They will learn these skills through programming, journaling, and working with their peers. Registration is now open at go.osu.edu/taketheleap and due January 24, 2021.   3. 4-H Club Leadership Training: Join us as 4-H professionals from southwest Ohio put on this Virtual 4-H Club Leadership Training.  It will take place on Monday, February 15 from 10:00 a.m.-noon Register at www.go.osu.edu/clubtraining by Feb. 11. We will have several breakout sessions including officer resources, mock meeting, zoom tips and tricks, parli pro, virtual club activities, and how to prepare for meeting.
  4. 2021 Quality Assurance Dates:  YOU NEED TO REGISTER!: Time to get 2021 Quality Assurance dates on your calendar! Dates are posted at www.go.osu.edu/greenecoqa Please register by clicking the date you want to attend virtually.  These dates will be done by zoom.
