If your pesticide license or fertilizer certification will expire in March 2018, then you need to be at one of these training’s this winter. Recertification courses are offered throughout the state and you are able to attend any one of them to meet the criteria for recertification.

Renewal is a 2 step process.

Step #1: You should have received a letter in the the mail from the Ohio Department of Agriculture. This will have your application for renewal and that must be filled out with payment and mailed back to ODA. If you do not fill out and mail this renewal form back to ODA, you will NOT receive a renewal card, therefore you will not be able to purchase restricted pesticides or fertilizer.

Step #2: Register for the recertification training course offered through OSU Extension. You may register for these courses by clicking here for further information.

Check your recertification status here.

If you have questions, contact your local extension office. Clermont may contact 513-732-7070 or neal.331@osu.edu.
