4-H Forestry and Wildlife Camp – September 15-17

Are you interested in natural resources and want a camping experience totally dedicated to exploring the outdoors through forestry and wildlife education? Then 4-H Forestry and Wildlife Camp at Canters Cave in Jackson from September 15-17 is just for you. Thanks to generous support from the Ohio 4-H Foundation campers can attend for just $35 each, reduced fee is limited to the first 40 youth to sign up. You will explore tree identification, wildlife habitat study, animal identification, orienteering, map reading, outdoor cooking and shooting sports disciplines during camp.

North Central Region – Ohio – Nanette L. Neal

Nanette “Gigi” L. Neal, Ohio State University Extension Educator in Clermont County, recently received the 2015 Achievement Award from the National Association of County Agriculture Agents during their Annual Meeting and Professional Improvement Conference held in Sioux Falls, SD this past July.  This award is given to Agents with 10 years or less of service in Cooperative Extension and have exhibited excellence in the field of Extension Education. This award is only presented to 2% of the County Extension Educators in Ohio each year. More information on the award can be found here.
