Basic Information
Workshop to train Ohio 4-H volunteers who are interested in serving as shooting sports discipline instructors in their county 4-H programs. Participants must be approved 4-H volunteers in order to participate in workshops. Extension professionals will be contacted to confirm volunteer status.

Full participation in the workshop is required.
A confirmation email will be sent after registration is submitted. Please be sure your email is typed correctly. You will be sent a second email containing a link to fill out the health forms that you will need to complete and bring to the workshop with you.
Prerequisites
All participants who have not already taken the online National 4-H Shooting Sports e-Learning Modules, must complete them prior to attending the workshop. If you have not completed these modules, please contact your county 4-H professional for information on how to access the modules.
Junior Leaders
Junior Leaders are 4-H members who are 14+ by January 1 of current year, who are interested in assisting with shooting sports in their home county. All Junior Leaders must have completed the 4-H project in their selected discipline before attending the workshop. In addition to this registration the State 4-H Shooting Sports Coordinator will need to receive a letter of recommendation from one trained shooting sports instructor who is not related to the Junior Leader. This letter should endorse your candidacy for the weekend as a mature teen that has the leadership skills, and the self-discipline necessary to successfully complete the weekend AND serve as a junior leader in your county shooting sports program. This recommendation letter may be uploaded with this application or emailed to the state coordinator at winters.5@osu.edu by the registration deadline of September 19, 2022.

 NO CASH can be accepted at the camp

Space is limited in disciplines – Your space is NOT confirmed until payment is received.

Cancellations made prior to September 19deadline will receive a refund minus a processing charge of $5.00. Cancellations made September 20 and after will not receive a refund. Workshop fees may be transferred to another approved 4-H volunteer in the same discipline with advanced notice, for this same workshop. Registration Fees will NOT be carried forward to the next workshop.
