Keeping it REAL at Bethel-Tate High School

On November 26, all students at Bethel-Tate High School experienced workforce readiness.  Freshman completed the Real Colors® personality assessment.  Sophomores visited Grant Career Center to learn about the programs offered while Juniors and Seniors participated in the Real Money. Real World. spending simulation.

Real Colors® is a fun, interactive workshop that provides participants with the skills to understand human behavior and can easily be incorporated into all aspects of your personal and professional life. Through Real Colors®, participants gain a new perspective on themselves and the things that are most important to them. This is a great activity to complete as a Freshman as it provides valuable skills and insights.

Real Money. Real World. spending simulation is an activity developed by OSU Extension professionals and is an interactive, hands-on classroom experience that gives young people the opportunity to make lifestyle and budget choices similar to those they will make as adults.

This day was a partnership between all program areas of OSU Extension Clermont County(4-H Youth Development, Agriculture & Natural Resources and Family & Consumer Science), Empower Youth and Bethel-Tate High School.
