Clermont County 4-H will be hosting it’s second annual Peanut Butter and Jelly Drive from November 1- November 15, 2019. Clermont County 4-H is partnering with Empower Youth and Project Lunchbox to fill weekend food packs with a family favorite – peanut butter and jelly! This classic sandwich is a good source of protein and is easy for school-aged youth to make on their own. Our goal is to donate 820 jars of PB&J to the two organizations. The weekend food packs help to spread the love when families are spread too thin!
We will accept donations of your favorite peanut butter, nut butter alternative, jelly and jam. It is encouraged that individuals donate both a peanut butter and jelly as one donation. This will allow us to fill food bags with both items. Please make sure that your donations are not expired or opened and homemade items or pre-made sandwiches will not be accepted It is very important that jelly and jam donations are in plastic jars. The bags are handed out during school and children have to transport the food items on the bus or carry them home.
The PB&J Drive is a great way for your club, business or organization to support the youth in our community. Get your team together (friends, family, co-workers and neighbors) and start collecting, today!
