There’s Still Time to Register for Perennial School

Ohio State University Extension Clermont County is celebrating the 25th Southwest Ohio Perennial School on April 11, 2019, at the Clermont County Fairground’s 4-H Hall.  The full day event begins at 8am.

Perennial School will feature educational presentations with a tradeshow, staffed by regional vendors and gardening organizations.

Speakers include:

  • You Are a Gardener, Therefore You are an Artist, Chris Daeger, BC Nursery and Gardens
  • Herbaceous Perennials – The Inspiration for It All, Dr. Gary Gao, OSU Extension Specialist, Small Fruit
  • Growing Caterpillars: A Tale of Birds, Plants and Conservation, Jim McCormac, Retired Botanist, Ohio Department of Natural Resources
  • Garden Roses….The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly!, Steve Ferris, Retired Rose Horticulturist & Judge of Biltmore International Rose Trials
  • Lest Our Children Forget: Invasive plants, Native Habitat, and our Shifting Baseline, Cory Christopher, Cincinnati Nature Center
