Attention: Poultry Exhibitors

Youth enrolled in a market chicken project must order their chickens through the Clermont County Junior Fair Board.  Members must order and pay for their chicken orders in person.  Orders are being accepted on March 24 and April 7, from 9:00 a.m. -12 :00 p.m in the Blue Ribbon Cafe.  Chicken pick-up will be scheduled for late May; an exact date will be determined once the order has been placed.

Turkey pick-up will be Tuesday, March 27, from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the 4-H Hall Kitchen.  Please bring a box and towel with you to keep your turkeys warm.  You will also need to have feed and water ready to give them as soon as you get them home

Any poultry that does not come from a pullorum-free hatchery must be pullorum tested.  Exempt from this rule is market chickens or turkeys purchased through the Junior Fair Board, unless they have been co-mingles with other poultry.  Pullorum testing will be held June 2 and June 16, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the chicken barn, located on the Clermont County Fairgrounds.
