4-H Dog Expo

Saturday, May 13 – Postmark Registration Deadline EXTENDED TO WEDNESDAY, MAY 3.

 What is Ohio 4-H Dog Expo? Dog Expo is an opportunity for 4-H members (AND their dogs) to learn skills to help them be more successful with their 4-H dog projects. Teamwork between the 4-H member and his/her dog is emphasized throughout the skills sessions. Dog Expo is open to all 4-H dog project members and their dogs, whether this is their first-year or they have been taking dogs for several years. Experienced 4-H dog volunteers and resource people will be present to help 4-H members work with their dogs. There will be a session for advisors to ask questions and learn how to better help 4-H’ers with their dog projects.

4-H Dog Bowl Contest

Saturday, June 17 – Postmark deadline for teams to enter, pay the $30.00 team entry fee, and submit questions is Wednesday, May 17.

 Objective of Dog Bowl: The primary objective of the Dog Bowl Contest is to provide an opportunity for youth involved in 4-H dog projects to demonstrate their knowledge of canine-related subject matter in a competitive setting where attitudes of friendliness and fairness prevail. The Dog Bowl Contest should provide an educational experience for both participants and spectators.
