Assessment using Telehealth

Clinicians can implement the assessment of an individual’s health and wellness remotely by using a combination of telehealth technologies, such as video conferencing, remote monitoring, and secure messaging. Clinicians can use secure messaging platforms to communicate with patients between virtual visits, to monitor health and wellness and provide guidance on self-care. The resources listed cite guidelines for diagnostic decision-making, professionalism and best practice for telehealth assessment.
