Ceramic is volume, interior and exterior. Even without being handled its weight and texture can be established by the viewer. When the ceramic object is confidently sculpture, and appears outdoors how does our relationship change with the ceramic object? By planting the ever steady ceramic next to growing, thriving and withering plants does the ceramic appear to change, to have a greater existence?
