Everything is Record is a contemplation of the relations of art, image, and record. Dozens of tiny, lightweight, handmade, pinhole cameras filled with photographic paper will be tossed out the building’s window landing below. This will render many image parts specific to the building’s location. The paper images produced act as an abstract document of the gesture that questions the validity of record through image documents. It is a systematic study of entropy, an attempt to examine systems of chaos, while also examining the role gesture can play in this process.
