Hi! My name is Ryleigh Evans. I graduated from Johns Creek High School and am currently a first-year student at The Ohio State University and a member of the Advocates for Communities and Education Scholars Program. I am currently majoring in Human Development and Family Science with a minor in Education, on a pre-occupational therapy track. Throughout high school I was on honor roll every semester, was involved with Beta club since the seventh grade, was an active member of the National Spanish Honors society, and the Vice President of Spanish Club. I was also a P.A.L. (peer academic leader), and friend, for the special needs classes in my high school, which was one of the greatest experiences I have to date. After graduating from The Ohio State University, I plan on applying to grad school to get my masters/doctorate in Occupational Therapy and hopefully work in either a school or hospital setting, with special needs pediatrics. In my time at Ohio State, I plan on studying abroad and possibly earning a double major in either Disability Studies or American Sign Language.
