Congratulations to Huriah Al Sultan, MS -PhD candidate for being awarded the American Association for Respiratory Care’s Vision Award!! This competitive grant opportunity will award Huriah with $41,000 and will work to support the proposal titled: Student Respiratory Therapy (RT) Training in Chest Sonography in the Management of Long COVID-19: A Value-Added Clinical Skill. This education endeavor and summative evaluation of the skills that BS and MS students acquire will be targeted to prepare them in assessing patients who have chronic disease and specifically residual changes from COVID-19. Huriah is working to pull all her work together into a PhD dissertation.
