My Procrastination Tips

Here are some of my tips to stop procrastination when trying to complete Academic assignments!

  1. Submerse your self in am academic environment. This technique is highly effective because it allows you to integrate with others around you and get motivated.
  2. Determine your priorities and what tasks are more difficult or longer. It provides a sense of relief to save the smaller projects for faster completion of the whole, when the longer parts are complete.
  3. Music is my personal preference that helps me kick the mood of procrastination. Sounds can invoke feelings of empowerment and creativity. Be careful, as this method can cause some distraction.
  4. I would definitely advise getting a study partner, WITHIN the academic environment because that sense of getting accomplishments with a friend or colleague is also motivational and you can reward yourself with social interactions after.
